Birthday Blessings 2022: A (BDSM) Year in Review

 

Celebrating my birthday at Fire Island!

 

Wow! Another year has come to pass so quickly. This birthday marks an incredible year of growth and love for me.

This year I:

  • Fell in love in such a deep and intimate way with another kinky person, and felt that love proliferate, ebb, flow, inform and be informed by all the scenes I do with so many other people.

  • Got to really hone in on the types of sessions I adore doing.

    • Sharpened my scalpels and got to create such beautiful work with the open wounds of other people’s bodies

    • Stuck my hands in some…tight spots (pumps fist)

    • got to do more sessions with queer people than ever before

  • got to travel to so many different gorgeous places and get to know kinksters from all over the US and beyond. I have especially loved my visits to DC, and I plan on making another trip towards the end of July.

  • Wrote an executed a D/s Dealer/artist contract with a very special artist that I am deeply proud of. Learning to trust and be trusted in the duration of that contract was incredible.

  • Hired an in-person sex worker for the first time ever

this upcoming year I:

  • am excited to continue the work with Veil Machine, Kink Out and Red Canary Song. There may or may not be some plans already in the works, so please be on the lookout!

  • Think it might be time to expand. I am not sure how this will take place yet but I believe it to be the case.

  • Would love to travel to more places in the form of a Fly Me To You, especially international locations. Some places on my FTMY bucket list include San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, Paris, Shanghai, Berlin and Florence.

  • Would love to do more LONG extended scenes—I’m thinking overnight bondage and complete sensory deprivation, psychological warfare, total reprogramming and breaking someone down. I have one of these planned for July and I can’t wait!

  • Would love to further explore themes of disgust and abjection.

  • Want to experiment with temporary modification: saline, branding, and nailing someone’s genitals to a board.

  • And as always, I love group scenes.

Thank you so much to everyone who truly made this birthday one to remember. I was wished happy birthday this year by more people than I can count on all my fingers and toes, and I am so grateful for each and every wish.
